base for your Lakeland holiday. From here you can strike out and see some of the
most Beautiful Mountain Lake scenery in England. Visit the picturesque villages
of Hawkshead and Grasmere once home to the Poet William Wordsworth, Lake Coniston
with its historic Gondola and for the more energetic of you a hike up the ‘Old
Man of Coniston’ just one of the many mountain and fell walks offering breathtaking
